Semi Unrelated Randomness

This is slightly unrelated to anything, but a side note: I'm on one of my "reduce your online presence" kicks. This blog and my wedding ranting blog are staying here and staying public, yay. But if you read any of my old blogs or if you're on my Facebook and I don't know you in real life then you'll probably find you can't access that stuff anymore. Sorry if anyone actually cares about this (I don't expect anyone does, haha), but just in case, my apologies.

Not sure what I'm going to do about my flickr, that's the reason I've been so slow in actually updating the pictures here, I'm going to use flickr for them but I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it yet. Gave myself a deadline to figure it out by my birthday next week though.

Anyway, to make this slightly travel related, we're going to Dublin for my birthday next weekend! And we're also going to Italy and the South of France in March! Exciting stuff. I'm happy about it because I'm starting to get entrenched in my my "nearly six months in one place" biannual funk. More than 4-5 months between trips makes my brain go numb. Yes, I know, poor me, right? Total first world, spoiled brat problem, but I still want out of here, nonetheless.

Very Exciting (To Me)

Have solved picture problem (I think). Pictures will be back soon! Yay!

That is all, sorry, I'm boring right now.

Play over here for now.

Muffins

Today I made muffins.

Let's back up.

Today I got out of bed at somewhere between 1 and 2pm; I'm still not dressed and I don't plan to be. Me and my flannel pajamas need to become better acquainted. Today I lied on the couch. And I watched the last two episodes of season one of The Tudors. And then I threw some laundry in and took some garbage and recycling out, and then, at 7pm, I made muffins.

Out of a box.

I know that doesn't count.

It was not a very productive day. Lots of other things that could be done, should be done. Those things can wait though. Right now I'm just enjoying the smell of my baking muffins. I'd take you a picture, but Brian has the camera in Slovenia, so no such luck.

Everything is better when you make it with your own hands.

Even if it is out of a box.

So don't forget to sit back and enjoy your metaphorical muffins.

As for me, I have a date with myself, a new book, and a mug of peppermint tea. Happy 2009, lovelies.
